to those I love, for lori

If I should ever leave you whom I love to go along the Silent Way,
Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears,
But laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you there.
(I'd come-I'd come, could I but find a way!
But would not tears and grief be barriers?)
And when you hear a song or see a bird I loved,
Please do not let the thought of me be sad...
For I am loving you just as I always have...
You were so good to me!
There are so many things I wanted still to do-
So many things to say to you...
Remember that I did not fear...
It was just leaving you that was so hard to face...
We cannot see Beyond...
But this I know:
I loved you so- 'twas heaven here with you.

video blogger

If I can't be a good blogger, I can at least be a good video & photo poster. That counts as blogging, doesn't it? Here's some footage of the kiddos taken this morning. (Notice L's spock-like declaration of her age.)

gfhm

Twenty bucks to whoever the genius is who can figure out that acronym.

I'm the worst blogger ever so far as 2007 is conerned.

But I'm not concerned. It will happen in its own due fair time, so hold on.
Ebb and flow, you know?

The trip back east was nice, stressful, and everything in between. I love my family. I also learn more about myself everytime I visit them. (So does my better half. Which I can't tell you how much I appreciate. Insight is powerful.)

Probably one of the best parts of my trip back was being temporarlily reunited with my best of bestest friends. She is ever so dear to my soul and I love her infinitely.

While I get nervous reconvening after absences with others, things fell right back into place with her as if nothing had been interupted. I swear, she is the soul mate of alll soul mates. I love those connections. They're heaven sent.

forecast and farewell

You have a tendency to see what you want to see when you look at yourself and at the world around you, sarah. While that may mean you can retain your positive and pleasant view of life, it could also mean that you fall into a state of denial about the reality of what is going on around you at times. On Thursday, your desire to see the world through rose-colored glasses changes, due to the Moon conjunct Uranus in your sign of Pisces. You might be propelled into thinking about your current life situation in a very realistic way and may surprise yourself with the conclusions you come up with once you do. You might decide to make changes in your life in a few different areas, and your perception of your day-to-day reality should become much clearer and brighter. On Sunday, Venus in creative and forceful Leo trines discerning Pluto and you will realize how easy it is for you to carve out and sculpt the life you want for yourself. You have enormous gifts and talents, and just need some more confidence in your ability to put them to good use for yourself and those around you.

I'll be gone for a little while. (Like I haven't been gone for a little while already...)

Thinking of you all and missing you all. Missing myself in the context of writing here, too. I'll be back. Promise. Until then, be well, and much love.
